Designed in 1993–99 in several styles, as “a fairly faithful revival of Potomac Latin, designed in the late 1950s for PhotoLettering, Inc.” [Christian Schwartz]. This recollection is slightly off: Potomac was a design by Filmotype.
Only the Bold was released by FontHaus. Originally named Atlas and currently sold as Fortis by GroupType, a subsidiary of FontHaus. The ¡Casa Latino! suite (Latino Samba and Latino Rumba; House Industries, 2000) is a reconsideration.
