    <title>Papirtis Shalom in use</title>
    <link>https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/195445/papirtis-shalom</link>
<description>Papirtis Shalom in use. A faux Hebrew originally drawn by Charles Papirtis and shown by Photo-Lettering as Papirtis Shalom in the ’64 Alphabet Supplement (1964).

A close copy is shown by Dan X. Solo as Shalom, with sturdier thin strokes and several small differences (e.g. ‘R’ leg is detached, ‘T’ roof has pointed terminal at the right) [Solo 1978]. Later listed as Sholom. [Solo 1992]

Various digital versions and clones, including Peace (anonymous, 1992/1994, apparently based on Solo’s copy but with more differences), Mohlar Light and Shalom Light (anon., derived from Peace, but w/ missing glyphs), and Sholom (Dieter Steffmann, 1999, like Peace w/ a few added diacritical characters). DS Sholom (Design Studio, 1999) drops the dots in ‘CLPU’ and adds Cyrillic characters.</description>
