An alphabet (w/ numerals and basic punctuation) drawn by Matthew Carter in 1961 for signs for the new Oceanic Building / No. 3 Passenger Building (renamed Terminal 3 in 1968) at London Airport (renamed Heathrow in 1966), developed by Colin Forbes at Pentagram with the involvement of architect Frederick Gibberd. At that time, Helvetica wasn’t available yet in London.
