Designed by Frederic W. Goudy in 1930 for his Village Letter Foundery. No lowercase.

Revived by Jason Castle as Goudy Stout CT in 1992, extended with Greek and Cyrillic characters. Vincent Connare did another interpretation for Microsoft (1995–2002). Jonathan Smith’s Porter Lil’ Kaps (1993–1997) is a shareware version with a few dingbats, alternates and catchwords. Goudy Striped is a version in two different stripe patterns made by Patricia Lillie (shareware, 1994). Jim Rimmer’s Poster Paint (Canada Type, 2012) is a loose homage.
