Ventum is an offshore wind energy maintenance and service company operating across Europe, the UK, and the US. Founded by young entrepreneurs in a veteran-dominated industry, the company specializes in turbine maintenance, blade repair, rope access services, and emergency response for offshore wind installations.

The visual identity, from the carefully crafted Parabole Display and Parabole Text combination to the precise color psychology of cool offshore tones, immediately signals institutional maturity.

The ‘Keep the World Spinning’ positioning accomplishes something more subtle but equally important. It demonstrates strategic thinking beyond operational capability. While competitors present themselves through purely technical language (offshore maintenance, turbine repair services), Ventum's narrative positioning shows founders who think in terms of mission and impact.

How do we want to live? The exhibition Wir ist Zukunft. Visionen neuer Gemeinschaften / We is Future. Visions of New Communities at the Museum Folkwang explores the desire for new forms of community – ecological, utopian, based on solidarity. From lifestyle reform to hippie architecture to Afrofuturism: on display are artistic responses to an old question that is becoming increasingly urgent. A journey through lived visions and emerging spaces of possibility.

We were responsible for the exhibition labelling in the form of wall texts and work labels, as well as a color concept for walls and curtains. We also supported the installation of the works with a digital simulation. Curated by Anna Fricke, Antonina Krezdorn and Rebecca Herlemann of Museum Folkwang, Essen.

CH Compliance operates at the intersection of regulation and possibility, redefining the boundaries of what it means to be compliant in an industry steeped in complexity and transformation. Our collaboration with CH Compliance sought to articulate the ethos of their practice, building a framework that extends beyond service into a philosophy of guidance, precision, and trust. Through this engagement, we sought to balance the intricate rigor of compliance with a language and identity that invites clarity and confidence.

Cannabis compliance is not merely a procedural necessity; it is a dialogue between law and practice, where every permit, inspection, and license speaks to the broader responsibility of operating within a regulated ecosystem. From navigating city-level requirements to meeting state-mandated standards, CH Compliance is a steward of this dialogue. Their role is both pragmatic and conceptual, ensuring that businesses remain not just operational but exemplary in their adherence to the rules that govern them.

Through research, strategic thinking, and design, we aimed to give shape to this ethos. By engaging with stakeholders and exploring the nuanced landscape of cannabis operations, a central insight emerged: compliance is not an obstacle but a structure that can be navigated, understood, and mastered. CH Compliance is not merely a service provider but a partner in this endeavor, enabling operators to move beyond uncertainty toward resilience.

This philosophy informed every aspect of our work. The typographic choices—KMR Waldenburg for its grounded authority and ABC Gramercy Fine with its elegant balance of whimsy and functional sturdiness, invites editorial flexibility that reflects the brand’s adaptability in addressing nuanced challenges. The logo mixes the Display and Text styles of Parabole. The visual systems were designed to distill complexity into a form that feels accessible yet sophisticated. The resulting brand is not about decoration but about communicating presence, expertise, and reliability in an industry often clouded by opacity.

Our work extended to social media and digital platforms, translating CH Compliance’s expertise into narratives that inform and empower. Educational posts broke down the labyrinthine requirements of licensing, inspections, and permits, while digital campaigns positioned the brand as a trusted voice in compliance. On the website, a seamless user experience mirrored the simplicity and clarity CH Compliance brings to its clients.

This is not merely about branding; it is about creating a system of meaning that resonates with an audience navigating a challenging and evolving industry. CH Compliance does not just ensure compliance; it reimagines it as a practice of care, precision, and possibility.

In this next chapter, CH Compliance is poised to lead with a brand identity that reflects its values and a strategy that mirrors its commitment. The work is ongoing, but the foundation is clear: compliance, when understood and embraced, is a cornerstone of progress.
