Elmwood London collaborated with Mars Wrigley to revitalize the iconic Skittles brand, aiming for a consistent, upbeat, and globally adaptable presence across 180 countries. The refresh focused on amplifying Skittles inherent ‘nonsensical’ spirit, allowing for more dynamic storytelling and shareable content while retaining its nostalgic appeal for long-time fans and resonating with a new generation.

A key element of this refresh was the updated typography, which features a ‘fresh typographic spin’ and a distinctive slight kick on the K in the logo, enhancing its visual presence. Intro by Fontfabric plays the typographic part in this vibrant and playful rebrand, contributing to the overall energetic and fun aesthetic. The design ensures the beloved rainbow element remains flexible and iconic, extending seamlessly from physical packaging to engaging digital experiences. This project exemplifies how a strategic typographic choice can invigorate a global brand, blending heritage with a modern, absurdist sensibility.

In May 2024, Le Labo and dance school 4ème Art presented Diane Tsitera’s piece Mémoires dansantes ou lettre à un jeune danseur (in English: “Dancing Memories or Letters to a Young Dancer” at Le Rocher de Palmer.

In keeping with the reflections and writings of choreographer Maurice Béjart, the visuals I designed for the show refer in particular to this phrase: “Struggle, work and fly away”, represented here with dancer Marius Tsitera, where several movements form a graphic whole.

The photographs of dancer Marius Tsitera are by Reportage sud. The drawings used in this presentation are from my process and were not used for the show’s visual communication. Sherman Display is the main typeface, assisted by Intro Bold.

TT Trailers is signature typeface of Monkeys Restaurant.

Situated on the central beach of Varna, Bulgaria, Monkeys restaurant introduces the idea of exploring good food and enjoying a nice and welcoming atmosphere, allowing visitors to discover something new and not so traditional.

The identity is based on the visual representation of the lost jungle, hand in hand with the feeling of a modern, funky and dynamic brand.

In the menu, TT Trailers is paired with Intro. The type on a curve in the logo is yet to be identified.

In line with the designs made for Château des Arras, I worked on a new special cuvée: Exception’Elles! In a vineyard where the Merlot is most often used, this cuvée was made to distance itself by the use of their oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vines and by bringing a new gesture closer to nature. In biological conversion, the graphic approach is highlighting the whole ecosystem essential to the vine growth. The magnified letter A is here to establish the grape variety and this idea of selection.

The drawing represents the diversity of the ecosystem around the vineyard (flowers, insects, wild grasses, birds, etc…). The flora and fauna unite to form a unique bunch of flavors. In order to preserve a certain consistency, the graphical elements that have been used belong to Nono Ampuy, illustrator who worked on other cuvées of Château des Arras.

In order to stay in the graphical chart of Château des Arras and recognize the spirit of the previous labels, the A of the main typography was used as a stamp to represent the nature revolving around the vine stock. Its main trickle is reminiscent of the veins of the vine stock. All of it is printed in rounded golden and microstructured gilding to be reminiscent of the nature alive in this cuvée, both to the touch and to the view.

The letter A is taken from Intro Black Inline, with caps from plain Intro used for “Cabernet Sauvignon”. “Exception’Elles” pairs Mrs Eaves Italic with handwriting.

In addition to more Mrs Eaves Italic, the back label has information set in Trajan and Calibri.

In order to find a new identity for Château des Arras (France, Bordeaux wine area, St-Gervais), I concentrated the communication on the château’s animals as if they were mascots or ambassadors. This perspective allowed highlighting the environment, the context, the atmosphere and creating new federative landmarks.

By their presence and their games, the animals have brought a new representation of wines, inspired by Grimms’ fairy tale “The Town Musicians of Bremen”. The animals collaborate to form a big pyramid evocating a collective work. The different animals represent, depending on their corpulence, a sort of wine hierarchy driven by the level of tannic strength.

illustrator Nono Ampuy always takes a malicious delight in drawing animals… This project was a perfect occasion for a new collaboration. When she started drawing the animals, she was looking for the right movement that would illustrate the personality of each animal. “I aspired to simplicity of line, to evocate fur or feather, the blow of paw that would hit the bull’s eye…”

In order to be distinct from typographies often present in the Bordeaux region, and aiming for a design where animals would be the main recognizable signs, I worked between simplicity and tradition. Mrs. Eaves (and some accents with Trajan) for the traditional aspect of wine, the patrimonial side of the château. Intro Black Inline to attain impact and a warm and offbeat touch. The rosé wine label also uses Matrix Inline Script. On the information label, Mrs. Eaves is paired with Calibri and some lines using Intro Bold.

Identity for a concert venue called “Le Chinois” in Montreuil (near Paris, France). I've used Intro, designed by Fontfabric, for their flyers and booklets from 2015 on.

Bombs away! Drew inspiration from mid century travel ads, airline graphics, and bag tags. The happy couple enjoys travel and adventure, so I thought it fit. And it saved me an expensive gift.

With every project, I explore my love of colour, pattern and typography.

CHOCO is a high-end, modern, chocolate collection. Each design is intended to be individual, but also sit together as a group on shelf. I wanted the design to feel cheerful, and radiate fun. The packaging design allows for the collection to be further expanded when more flavours are added in the future. I also wanted to have the element on the sides of the packaging line up, almost in the same satisfying way that a magazine collection would on shelf.

Corporate design for a practice for hypnosis by Dorina Heilmann, including logo desgin, business cards, letterhead, advertising flyer and also a webdesign.

For the visual identity of Naturel, Exljbris’ Fertigo is paired with Fontfabric’s Intro. Both these fonts are strong characters in their own right: Fertigo is a curvy, informal sans, by its designer’s own admission something of an acquired taste; Intro is less whimsical, but its rounded detailing is very much to the fore.

Rai News 24 is an Italian 24-hour all-news state-owned television channel created in 1999. The campaign comprises three topics that have been applied for newspaper, magazine and billboard use.
