Behind the Forms. Aesthetics of Contemporary Art is a trio exhibition by Lei Ieng Wai, Leong Chi Mou and Lai Sio Kit. Curated by Kitman Leong, the exhibition was organised by Sands China Ltd. and co-organised by the Macau Artist Society, with art coordination by the Macau Youth Art Association. Through their different creative techniques, artists Lei Ieng Wai, Leong Chi Mou and Lai Sio Kit demonstrate their own understandings of various topics around Macao's economic development – spectrum, data texture, belief and value.

The exhibition poster is designed by Untitled Macao. Headlines use Category. The typefaces used for Chinese text are yet unidentified.

Since 1967, the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space presents the best works in scenography with emphasis on the self-sufficiency of this artistic field. The 15th edition will take place from 8 to 18 June 2023, the main location will be the Holešovice Market, and numerous parts will also be hosted in the National Gallery and The Academy of Performing Arts.

Project description by the design studio:

Staycation becomes a popular activity due to the pandemic.
Under the pandemic, people are trapped in their own surrounding. The flow of information and imagination are perceived in new forms. Human’s understanding toward distance changes. The sharing of space and ideas gets more and more virtualized.
In addition, people spend more time staying at home. Self-reflection and to get along with oneself becomes a new topic for human. “Home Staycation” makes use of installation art, video art and Artificial Reality, etc to present the idea that even people are trapped during lock down, their imagination remains open and versatile.
