Schelter & Giesecke’s Etienne series comprises mager, Kursiv, breit, and halbfett styles. For the breit, see Latin Antique. For shaded variants, see Umstochene Etienne. The mager was also carried by Woellmer. The halbfett (1890) appears to be a copy of Miller & Richard’s Antique No. 8, the Kursiv (before 1888) originated at Figgins in 1860.
