The logo is composed of a collection of different typefaces that blend together in harmony.

We just launched our new branding and website for our studio, Yellow Fellow. We worked on it for the past year with a team of talented designers and coders. The website's homepage is a playful interactive environment full of thumbnail animations inspired by the studio's symbol – the lemon eye.

We've also created the studio's brand style guide which is also based on the lemon eye symbol. The main typeface is TheBasics, a sans-serif font with a geometric and classic character, featuring varying letter widths that create playful touch and a unique rhythm. It’s used in proportional and monospaced styles. To complement the main font, the serif Abril Titling Condensed is used for longer texts. The website uses Abril Text.

The studio specializes in crafting graphics packages for films and series, building design systems for brands, creating stunning explainers and mind-blowing music videos.

We're passionate about making creative moving content which is wacky and stylish. We use a lot of mixed-media approaches in our style as we believe that taking different elements/ideas and combining them creates new and fresh visuals.

Daxton is a 151-room high-end hotel conceived by entrepreneur Mark Mitchell and partner Aparium Hotel Group in Birmingham, MI—a vibrant downtown outside Detroit. Its striking interior is a fearless take on modern luxe, with over 400 original pieces of avant-garde artworks curated by Saatchi Art, from artists both local and international.

With a lobby bar encased by a sprawling metal geode and mixed-media pieces like a mechanical gold horse, the experience is one of refined escapism. The fusion of dreams and reality that defines the interior also informed the branding, which blends an edgy wit with a modern sophistication. From its global collaborations to its cultural partnerships and world-class restaurant, Daxton is Michigan’s young gun upending the status quo and taking a well-deserved place next to the international giants of luxury hospitality.

For Daxton’s logotype, Mucca customized a stencil-version of Miller Banner, and utilized various cuts of the Miller and Miller Display type series throughout the collateral, stationery and wayfinding.

For the fifth annual Arkansas Times Craft Beer Festival we gave the identity a facelift. Same basic look but removed some fall textures (birch tree bark, for example). We stuck with the core fonts in the logo — a modified Miller Banner from Carter & Cone and David Whitley's Outage — and added Wayward Sans, the result of a collaboration by Jeremy Vessey and Pixel Surplus, to help highlight some of the festival’s (albeit young) history. We are using the logo’s barley and hops (seen here) minimally this year.

Tokyo based TAKE and GIVE NEEDS (T&G) is the largest wedding company in Japan and offers a complete service for that special occasion. On the corresponding website Miller Banner is used for headlines, numbers and highlighted text and is combined with Gotham for navigation and small text passages as well as Ryumin for Japanese text.
