Bahamontes Magazine is a Belgian magazine dedicated to cycling, named in honor of the famous Spanish cyclist Federico Bahamontes, nicknamed “The Eagle of Toledo.” The magazine focuses on the cultural, historical and emotional aspects of cycling, offering detailed stories, interviews, and high-quality photography. It highlights the spirit and fascinating stories of the cycling world, appealing to enthusiasts of the sport.

In this special issue of Bahamontes Magazine, published following the rescheduling of the 2020 Tour de France due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the editorial team took the opportunity to look back at the rich and fascinating history of this iconic event.

To design this issue, graphic design studio Pjotr Grafisch Ontwerp used Le François (Damien Gautier, 205TF), Sharp Grotesk (Sharp Type) and Tiempos (Klim Type Foundry).

The catalog Océan. Une plongée insolite (Ocean. An unusual dive) was published by the National Museum of Natural History (Paris, France) on the occasion of the exhibition of the same name. For the cover design, Fanette Mellier used the typeface Le Francois, designed by Damien Gautier and available on 205TF. The smaller type is Akzidenz-Grotesk.

JK Opole Theatre’s mission is to propagate art and culture in Poland and abroad.
The theater presented the drama Kolaboranci by Maria Marcinkiewicz-Górna under the artistic direction of Kaja Amande. The communication was designed by Krzysztof Iwanski, with the typeface Le François, created by Damien Gautier and available on 205TF. The small type is in Steagal.

Brice Tourneux and Samuel Avequin have designed the catalog of the exhibition Cycles et motos — L’épopée fantastique. The typography uses Le François, a typeface created by Damien Gautier. This exhibition took place at the Musée de Compiègne.

The “Festin de Babette” benefit supper took place last November to raise funds on behalf of the Jewish General Hospital Foundation to support Dr. Andréa C. LeBlanc’s research on Alzheimer’s as well as the Memory Clinic.

On the menu: Babette’s Feast, inspired by the well-known book and movie, but reinterpreted for the evening by great Montreal chefs, who treated guests to a sumptuous meal.

The evening’s theme was purposely interwoven with an unsettling sense of confusion. First, through the souvenir book, the evening’s showcase piece. From one page to the next, the team created an increasingly confusing experience to reflect the reality of someone suffering from the disease that gradually robs the person of their memory. Repetition of words. Tricks with page numbers. Insertion of spaces and blank pages. One, two, then three. Photos of chefs improperly buttoned up, absent gazes, unkempt hair. A pot that is overflowing, wine in a tea cup… As the reader approaches the end, the more disorganized the content becomes.
