The collaborative 7″ split single between Fetus and Les Testarudes comes with a bold visual identity designed by Pau Llop. The artwork captures the raw energy and political edge of the bands’ sound.

At the core of the design is GS Triomf (by GS-Type). Its sharp serifs and rhythm inject a sense of urgency and directness, echoing the aesthetics of protest posters and grassroots publishing. Used for the main titles, Triomf anchors the artwork with a voice that feels both historic and uncompromisingly contemporary.

Complementing it is Plast, a sans serif developed by 131 (Pau Llop & Esteve Padilla). Its rough, industrial character balances the elegance of Triomf, creating a visual tension that reflects the music’s mix of tradition, critique, and rebellion.

Together, the two typefaces embody the spirit of the project: rooted in collective identity, and designed to amplify voices that demand to be heard.

The record was jointly released by Buenritmo and Bankrobber. From the latter (translated):

The vinyl includes “La gran xefla” by Fetus as performed by Les Testarudes and “Terra de secà” by Les Testarudes as performed by Fetus, as well as a version of the classic “Au, jovent!”, where Les Testarudes already added their voices to the original Fetus recording.

Imprenta “La Fleca” is a project by Ekaitz Sánchez that celebrates the craft of popular printing in Reus (Spain), inspired by the historical “Librería o Imprenta La Fleca” which was a true emblem of the city. Its visual identity recreates the look and feel of historic ephemeral prints—colorful booklets, devotional leaflets, and folk publications—using Triomf (GS‑Type) for display text combined with a clean sans serif for body text what appears to be Inter (designed by Rasmus Andersson).

Triomf evokes the irregularity and charm of artisanal printing, while Inter adds clarity and modern editorial structure. Applied across covers, interiors, and promotional materials, it gives Imprenta “La Fleca” a voice that is both rooted in tradition and visually bold.

The project was made at ESDAPC Llotja. Its design and concept were recognized with a Bronze ADG Laus Student Award in 2022, highlighting its quality and cultural relevance.

Fil Roig is a book series by Catalan publisher Tigre de Paper, reissuing emblematic works of Catalan political and social thought. Its visual identity, crafted by Gerard Joan, features a striking logotype set in Triomf, a display serif by Gerard Sierra (GS‑Type).

Triomf is also used for the titles of the books, bringing sharp contrast and geometric rhythm to the design. It evokes a sense of historical authenticity—recalling protest signage—while asserting a clean, modern editorial tone.

Applied across book covers, chapter headings, and promotional materials, Triomf gives Fil Roig a voice that is both rooted in tradition and boldly contemporary. The accompanying sans is GT America by Noël Leu (Grilli Type).

Bodega Borràs is a Catalan winery that blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary visual storytelling. Its identity, designed by Opisso, features a bold logotype set in Triomf, a display serif by Gerard Sierra (GS‑Type).

Originally inspired by letters found in a 1930s Spanish poster, Triomf brings sharp contrast and geometric rhythm to the brand. It evokes Mediterranean signage and vintage wine labels while asserting a modern, graphic presence.

Applied across multiple brand materials, Triomf gives Borràs a visual voice that feels grounded in tradition yet distinctly contemporary.

A powerful message through design: the “Pagesia o Mort!” (“Peasantry or Death”) poster is a striking visual statement that draws attention to the peasant struggle and their fight for land. Designed by Gerard Joan under the concept of Elisenda Rosàs for Lo Fato, this iconic piece holds immense political significance.

The typeface chosen for the design – GS Triomf by GS-Type – amplifies the message with power, resilience, and authenticity. The font’s solid, grounded forms reflect the strength of the cause and the Catalan context from which it emerged.

Triomf was selected for this project because of its ability to convey serious, weighty messages. The typeface’s strong, elegant lines, combined with its sharp and clean structure, create a striking visual experience that enhances the urgency and clarity of the message.

Since its appearance, the poster has been featured in numerous demonstrations and has become a symbol of the peasant struggle against political decisions made far from the rural communities they affect.

Els Pastorets d’Olesa is a traditional Catalan theatrical representation, performed every Christmas at the theater El Casal d’Olesa; based on the original script Els Pastorets o l'Adveniment de l’Infant Jesús by Josep Maria Folch i Torres.

In 2020, a year marked by the Covid pandemic, the representation reinvented itself due to the health restrictions and offered a streaming show. For this reason, that year the posters contained a close-up of the main characters, under the claim “closer than ever”.
