Imperator is a freebie font family first released in 1996 in regular (w/ lowercase), Small Caps, Bronze Small Caps (handtooled), and Plaque (reversed boxed initials) styles. Small Caps Bold, Bronze, and Bold styles were added in 2007.

The Small Caps style is popular as an amateur replacement for Trajan and used for the sample (in all caps).

Anavio (2010) is a commercial revision.
