Originated at Face, in 5 weights. [Berthold E1, 1974] Klingspor Museum credits the design to Tony Geddes, 1968, but gives a different name, Musketeer. Apparently loosely based on Design. Also shown as Milton in a Typeshop catalog from the late 1970s in 5 weights, with alternates for ‘AHMV’, and later as Milton Serial in 6 weights plus outlined as well as outlined and shaded styles. 3 weights were adopted by Mecanorma and listed in their Graphic Book N.14 (1988) as “new”, with QBF credit (Quick Brown Fox = Brendel).
