A version and expansion of Novel Gothic, in eight numbered weights plus outlined and shaded styles. Novel Serial 7 is about equivalent to ATF’s original. Originated at Brendel / Typeshop as Novel Serial. [Typeshop Serials 1983] Renamed Napoli by 1991. [Serial Type Collection 1991] Also carried by Castcraft.

SoftMaker issued a version as Napoli Serial in 2010. Its range of seven weights is not the same as in the 1983 showing: the boldest weight, Heavy, is equivalent to Novel Serial 6.
