    <title>Romain du Roi in use</title>
    <link>https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/244710/romain-du-roi</link>
<description>Romain du Roi in use. Ian Party’s contemporary interpretation of the constructed original commissioned by Louis XIV in 1692. Comes in variable font format with axes for weight, width, and contrast. Also available as 108 static fonts (three widths with nine weights in roman and italic, all also in a variant with higher contrast).

While Romain du Roi is intended for text, Le Grand is a more dramatic and sculptural headline companion. Preceded by the sans-serif SunKing (2024).

See also Party’s previous SangBleu OG Serif (2015) incl. Romain BP (2007) and SangBleu BP (2008) as well as the SangBleu series from 2017, especially SangBleu Kingdom and SangBleu Versailles.</description>
