(Critical voices might call such an issue rather a commercial plug than a tribute, since Janosch is fortunately alive and kicking.)</p>

<p>The two stamps, <em>Segelboot</em> (Sailboat) and <em>Ostern</em> (Easter) feature his best-known character, the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tigerente">Tigerente</a> (Tiger Duck), next to others.
