German picture sleeve for a single by Golden Earring, with two songs from their 1972 album Together. A year later, the rock band from The Hague would achieve worldwide fame with “Radar Love”. Founded in 1961 as The Tornados, the band is scheduled to play a series of five farewell concerts at the Rotterdam Ahoy in 2026.

Churchward Design 70 Chisel and Light or Ultralight.

The logo for this brine bath in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany, uses Churchward Design Chisel, one of the numerous variations from the extensive display series by Joseph Churchward.

The white dimensional letters above the entrance are in a solid style from the same family, with a customized or alternate S. Note the difference in spelling. Here – and on the website, at least most of the time – it is “SOLEBAD”, with an extra E. Maybe the name was changed at one point, but as Churchward Design 70 Chisel is not available in digital form, the logo couldn’t be updated easily? In any case, the E on the siding is not from Churchward Design – it lacks the rounded bottom left corner.
