Begun in 2012 for the visual identity of the Le Feu Sacré publishing house under the name Thermidor. Based on the Elzevir designed by Charles Beaudoire, son of Theophile Beaudoire, for the Fonderie Générale in the final years of the 19th century, see Types Beaudoire. Although explicitly named ‘Elzevir’, it is largely influenced by the aesthetics of Art Nouveau, as well as the various movements that drew their formal vocabulary from the forms of the past. — Ornamental & Title Type
