    <title>Margaret Seaworthy Gothic in use</title>
    <link>https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/247668/margaret-seaworthy-gothic</link>
<description>Margaret Seaworthy Gothic in use. An all-caps gaspipe style typeface designed by artist Lawrence Weiner “which he made by hand, aimed to resist the weight of history that many other fonts carry”. [OS contemporary] The typeface was used in many of Weiner’s works.

Work for the typeface began to show up in Weiner’s notebooks in the early 1990s [Chiong], and the Guggenheim also dates the design to the 1990s. un Projects and Emily Gosling have dated the design to 1968, perhaps mistakenly in reference to styles of lettering that preceded the typeface.</description>
