Network Sans is the official typeface family of the
public transport system throughout the state of Victoria,
Australia. Started in-house at Public Transport Victoria
c.2017 with the involvement of Dean Butler and Michael
Bojkowski.
A version named Network Sans 2019 spanned four
upright weights plus one italic. By 2025, it was further developed
into four subfamilies: Network Sans 2024,
Network Sans Condensed, Network Sans Geo
(wider, circular rounds incl. monocular a), and
Network Sans Neo (like Geo, but wider still, with
tailed monocular a), all in a range of weights.
