Reklame-Kursiv was first shown in early 1895 [Archiv für Buchdruckerkunst, Feb 1895] and was also sold as Patent Reklame (Flinsch), Graphic (Stephenson Blake, 1896; Pavers & Bullens), lmpero (Società Augusta, before 1914), and Script Black (Shah Kikhabhoi, before 1916). There was also an open variant, Patent Reklame licht. The upright version of this design is Reklame.

Not to be confused with Kalligraphia, sometimes called Reklame-Kursiv.
