<p><a href="https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/2565/zan"><strong>Zan</strong></a> is an early typeface design by the <a href="http://typofacto.com/albert-boton-exposition-olivier-nineuil-gobelins/">great</a> <a href="https://fontsinuse.com/type_designers/13/albert-boton">Albert Boton</a> (*1932), a fat display face based on “four basic shapes — circle, triangle, square, and the St. Andrew’s Cross” — <a href="http://collections.bm-lyon.fr/mil/search?query[]=title_s:%22Zan%22&amp;query[]=hollenstein">Corpus typographique français</a>. Originally created for the French phototype studio Hollenstein in 1970, it was issued in digital form in 2002 as FF Zan. Together with <a href="https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/2563/ff-aircraft">FF Aircraft</a>, <a href="https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/2547/ff-district">FF District</a>, and <a href="https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/2564/ff-studio">FF Studio</a>, it forms the FF Bastille Display collection.</p>
