Tataowed is a book made by Luca Mantovani as student project at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna. Conceived as a cultural history of the practice and the tradition of tattooing, Mantovani brought together a number of typefaces for the design. The title is set in Americana, which also appears for headings and emphasis. Atlas Grotesk is the text typeface. This is enriched by pages set in Harbour, Taroca, Sporting Grotesque, and De Vinne.
