Designed by Ernst Schneidler and issued by Bauer in two weights plus swash caps in 1937. Soon after, a version optimized for smaller sizes followed. This Zentenar-Buch-Fraktur was also available for Intertype.
Digitizations by Lindenthal (both weights and the swash caps, 1998?), RMU (both weights, 2010), ARTypes (as Zentenar Initialen, swash caps only, 2007?), and SoftMaker (both weights, 2016). Gerhard Helzel’s Zentenar-Buchschrift is based on Zentenar-Buch-Fraktur and comes in 3 sizes.
