Deutsche Reichsschrift (also: Deutsche Reichs-Schrift, Deutsche Reichsfraktur) was designed by Arthur Pestner for Wilhelm Woellmers Schriftgießerei, Berlin. The family comprises an unusual high number of styles: mager, fett (both 1915), schmal halbfett (1917, used for the sample, courtesy of Letter Library), eng (1919), schmalfett (1924), schmal (1924), kursiv schmalfett (1935). Bernhard Schnelle mentions a halbfett style of unknown date.

The mager and schmalfett cuts were digitized by Gerhard Helzel. He gives a 1910 date for the typeface.
