Klingspor’s subset of 12 styles of Reform-Grotesk B, a late 1920s/early 1930s reworking of Stempel’s Reform-Grotesk (Stempel, 1904–24), with the addition of the breitfett style (1958). Released as Information in 1953 by Stempel’s subsidiary Klingspor. [Bertheau]. Also carried by Genzsch & Heyse as Nordische Grotesk. [1963 letter]
The condensed styles are very similar to Plak Condensed. Hanseatic is Linotype’s revision for phototypesetting.
Berthold released a digital version of three styles in 1993, which is now unavailable perhaps because Linotype owns the Stempel rights.
