Designed by Imre Reiner and first cast in 1938, this script typeface was announced in 1945 as Stradivarius, which was its name in English-speaking countries. Fundición Tipográfica Neufville in Barcelona offered it as Sinfonia. In Frankfurt, it was published not before 1948, now as Symphonie [Bertheau]. The metal typeface had alternates for ‘M’, ‘N’ and ‘T’.
Digitized as Stradivarius, which is also used for the sample here.
