    <title>Yardley in use</title>
    <link>https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/31963/yardley</link>
<description>Yardley in use. A capital alphabet by Walter Haettenschweiler appearing in Lettera 3 (1968) with a 1967 design date. It was inspired by a logo seen by Haettenschweiler in a London fashion district [swisstypedesign.ch]. What he saw probably was Davida (1965), but many of the resulting letters are distinct, such as ‘H’, ‘Q’, ‘R’, ‘W’.

Offered as phototype by Type’s Sistemas Gráficos in São Paulo.</description>
