Designed by Max Bittrof and released by Bauer in four styles: fett (1933), regular, halbfett, and schmalfett (all in 1934). [Reichardt 2011] Two weights were adapted for the Intertype as Element-Fraktur. In 1936, Bauer added a set of decorated caps (with fine verticals accentuating stems, and diagonals structuring counters) to all four styles.

Photo-Lettering had a phototype adaptation of the halbfett as Seidelburg Heavy. [PLINC 1960]

All four styles plus an open shaded style are digitally available from Gerhard Helzel. Ralf Herrmann made a digitization of the fett incl. the decorated caps as Wimaria Gotisch (FDI Type Foundry, 2025). See also Stamm and Autobahn Fraktur.
