In 2024, Goodbois collaborated with the German rap/pop artist CRO to create a custom bomber jacket for his upcoming tour in Germany. The design was inspired by an earlier piece from the Goodbois Dream Pack ’23, where this character first appeared. The idea was to merge CRO’s iconic character with it, while also incorporating the signature Alaca College typeface that plays a central role in the Goodbois universe.

To give the jacket a classic yet timeless edge, the design placed Nautica at the forefront—presented in a circular motif that symbolized a true ‘full circle moment’. On the inside, a personal detail was added: a stitched-in photo of CRO from 2009, when he wore a Goodbois tank top for the very first time, closing the loop between past and present.

The sweaters shown at the bottom are leftover concept explorations, showcasing how the design could have been reimagined for colorful knitwear and additional pieces.

Mighty Oaks are an indie/folk rock trio made up of Ian Hooper (US), Claudio Donzelli (Italy) and Craig Saunders (UK). They formed in 2010 and are based in Berlin. The visual identity of their fifth studio album, High Times, was designed by German graphic designer Fabian Maier-Bode. In developing the design, Maier-Bode used three typefaces in particular: Baustraße (by Fantasia Type) stretched to characterize the band’s name, Nautica (by Giuseppe Salerno) for the titles in the album, and Tempos Mono (by Samara Keller) for the rest of the lyrics.

The design of this packaging example for Luxury Box Sicilia stems from the packaging producer’s desire to transform two iconic symbols of Easter tradition – the dove and the chocolate egg – into “collectible objects capable of communicating craftsmanship, delicacy and care through a refined and contemporary aesthetic”.

The script typeface – Nautica by Resistenza – helps define the identity of the project, with a thin and sophisticated line that recalls handwriting, while maintaining balance and readability. The quote by Erri de Luca and other information are set in Adobe Garamond Italic.

El Supremo is a rum brand from Paraguay:

Don José Gaspar Rodríguez de Francia was a Paraguayan lawyer and politician influenced by the ideas of Enlightenment of Voltaire and Rousseau, and later, the French Revolution. Francia advocated for the full independence of Paraguay from the United Provinces of the Río de la Plata and the Empire of Brazil. His independent spirit is still venerated in Paraguay to this day, and it is for this reason we dedicate our Rum to him, named after his popular sobriquet “El Supremo”.

Among a combination of type and lettering, we spotted the use of Nautica for the pay off “From the Jungle of Paraguay”. The label text “Aged in oak” is set in Brothers and the lettering of “Rum” could by based on Rosella. The packaging by Oveja & Remi won a Master Medal on The Design & Packaging Masters 2018

Estudio Paloma created a new packaging for Tarta de Queso using Bourbon St from Typeverything for the main identity. Additional typefaces used across the packaging are ITC Garamond, Fabio XM and Nautica.

Designed by Shhh, Analogue Foundation’s new website has won two industry awards at Awwwards, “Site of the Day” and “Developer Award”. This website is set in the elegant Romie Regular with its unique set of ligatures, designed by Margot Lévêque. Romie is seamlessly blended in some titles with the script Nautica, designed by Resistenza. The sans-serif typeface employed is Acumin, a creation of Robert Slimbach, available on Adobe Fonts.

Celestia is a board game created by Aaron Weissblum. It can be played with 2 to 6 players. The estimated duration is about 30 minutes and is recommended for an audience of at least eight years. Celestia is published in French and English by Blam Editions. The Italian and German versions distributed by Ghenos Games and Heidelberger Spieleverlag use the same basic design, with illustrations by Lyon-based artist Gaétan Noir.

The logotype has a yellow gradient and is typeset with Nautica. Its capital C has been modified and the letter t has a descender swash. On the box designs and in the rule booklets, Nautica is paired with Minion and Times New Roman.

This EP reflects one's artistic growth seen from a circular temporality; in which we all start a process from one point, and instead of ending in another completely different one, we tend to return to the same places, people, memories, situations, songs, and ideas but grown and transformed.

We based the design on a fairy ring to show the circular temporality and at the same time, represent the melancholic and romantic magic atmosphere of the album. This EP is a letter that Mariana wrote to herself. Her name is set in Wired and the album title in Nautica Line, both with widened proportions. Smaller bits are added in Graphik and Ogg Display. “A poem” uses Nautica.

Juicy Marbles is “a collective of creators who do food, science, and art”, and who manufactures and sells plant-based meat. Their logo uses Agrandir Tight Black. On the website, that font is also used for headlines, together with styles from both widths of New Spirit, and is paired with Neue Haas Unica for text. Additional fonts used in the identity include Domaine Display, Nautica, and EB Garamond, and other styles from the Agrandir family.

Fashion Kush is a company that produces gadgets and appareal for smokers and weed lovers. All gadgets from their Successful Stoner product line sport a logo pairing the calligraphic Nautica with outlined Harry Obese, creating a sporty/tennis vibe.

Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) is the second studio album by Colombian-American singer Kali Uchis. Nautica is featured for the album title. The secondary typeface is Hellenic Wide. While the photography is by Jora Frantzis, the cover designer is not credited.

Neue Haas Grotesk and Apoc are the brand typefaces of design platform Yucca Studio.

The connection with the organic world of nature is obvious in relation to the color palette and in relation to the name “Yucca” itself. Despite its laid-back, discreet and neutral appeal, Yucca has quite a few symbolic meanings: new opportunities, loyalty, protection and purity.

Apoc has a classic and elegant look, combining some differentiating elements, and creating an interesting contrast with Neue Haas Grotesk. Together, the two convey the brand values of elegance and professionalism, as well as a clean and timeless style. The CC initials that are shown debossed on the business cards are from Nautica.

My theme was concrete. I was interested in the Bauhaus and more importantly in the importance of the Bauhaus in Israel, in Tel Aviv. I retraced the history of this movement and its migration with the rise of Nazism in Europe.

With its elegant, high-contrast strokes and billowing swashes I’m sure Nautica has been used on wine labels before — but this is a very special wine. It’s from the fictional vineyard of Jean-Luc Picard, former Captain of the USS Enterprise from the TV series Star Trek: The Next Generation. This video still comes from a teaser for Star Trek: Picard, a new TNG spinoff which picks up on Picard’s life 20 years after his last appearance in the film Star Trek: Nemesis (2002). The new series will premier in late 2019.

Product line for Pappas, “the only barbershop in Utrecht and perhaps in the Netherlands that produces bespoke men's care products according to their own recipe. Only natural products with delicious smells and carefully ‘tested’ on their own customers.”

The product names are set in Nautica (Resistenza) with smaller type in Copperplate Gothic. The four winds around the compass are indicated with capitals from Trajan. Like the nautic-themed design, the language is authentically faux vintage: the copywriter picked modern words, but spelled in a quasi-ancient way.

Located in the heart of Polanco, Mexico City, Barberia Royal provides classic barber and grooming services with a modern twist. We developed a clean and contemporary image that worked in tandem the bold interiors by ROW Studio.

The monogram references both barber scissors and engraved type, familiar to the world of men’s grooming. The mark is combined with three contrasting fonts (Sabre, Industry and Nautica) and heraldic patterns.

Engraved-style illustrations and majestic photography help to give the brand a unique presence in a highly competitive industry.—Deduce
