Syntax

A.k.a. Syntax-Antiqua. This prototypical humanist sans serif is based on Sabon [Quay]. Started by Hans Eduard Meier as early as 1954 and first cast by Stempel in 1968, as their last metal typeface. The foundry version spans four weights plus one italic cut. Also available for the Linotype.
