A Crise da Educação Ocidental is the Brazilian edition of the book “The Crisis of Western Education” by Christopher Dawson, published by É Realizações Editora as an edition in their Coleção Educação Clássica series.

Designed by Daniel Justi, the cover features Tuesnight by PintassilgoPrints. Alternate glyphs are used, and the font offers yet automatic swashes and ligatures as OpenType features.

The bold sans serif used for the copy on the back cover is yet unidentified.

The font draws inspiration from 1960s movie posters and is loaded with interlocking pairs and swashes, both managed by OpenType features. “THE” uses a built-in interlocking TH pair; “PANDORAS” is set using the standard bouncing baseline setting of “Tuesnight” – the typeface includes a contextual alternates feature that offers an alternate bounce effect.

The wide slab serif is Clarendon Bold Expanded.
