Designed by Martin Wilke and first cast in 1933 by Woellmer. Wilke Versalien is a matching set of simpler inclined caps. From 1938, the pair was carried by Schriftguss as Burgund (Kursiv) and Ambassador (Versalien).
In his digital revival (Canada Type, 2013), Hans van Maanen merged both styles and expanded them into three weights. The sample shows the lightest weight of Wilke Kursiv Swash which stays close to the original.
