A revival of Aldo
Novarese’s Forma
(Nebiolo, 1968), started
by David
Jonathan Ross for Font
Bureau in 2014, commissioned by Roger
Black for his redesign of the Asian Tatler
magazines at Edipresse Media. Released in Sep. 2016 in five optical
sizes (Banner, Display, Deck, Text, Micro) with five weights each, in roman and italic. Hairline and
Black weights were released in June 2019 to
members of the Font of the Month Club. An update made with the help
of Ruggero Magrì was released in May 2021, adding
four new weights, variable fonts, and greater language support.

Condensed (drawn by Magrì) and

UI were added in 2023.
The design was extended to support other writing systems,
starting with Cyrillic, designed by
Jovana Jocić and released in August 2021. Five
more scripts were commissioned in 2021 by Wieden+Kennedy for HP, with coordination by
Dyana Weissman:
