Comes in a single black (Spanish: negro) style, with several alternates of different width (CEFHLS), ligatures for ‘Th’, ‘ch’, ‘ck’, and a set of ornaments.
Berlin Sans (Font Bureau, 1994) is a digital revival and expansion into 4 weights. The Bold is equivalent to the original and is used for the sample. It includes the ligatures and the ‘S’ alternate. The other alternates and newly added ones are provided in an Expert set, and the ornaments in a Dingbats font.
Negrona (Tipo Pèpel, 2011) is another revival of the original style only, aiming to incorporate the imperfections of lead type when printed. It has all the extras included in the original, too.
