The corporate design for Die Mehlwerkstatt is a modern interpretation of baking craft. The focus is on sustainability and quality: no artificial flavors, no additives, no baking mixtures – baking art in its purest form. The taste of the past meets today’s zeitgeist. This look and feel is carried forward in the social media concept and is also reflected in the product photos.

The design was made in collaboration with Dominic Brandt.

Packaging for a haircare line by Michael Ahlmeyer, featuring Cosi Azure (Nikolas Type) in large display settings, accompanied by ABC Favorit (Dinamo) and an unidentified serif typeface.

Across the cartons, stacked type compositions form the phrase “The Aesthetics of Chemistry,” establishing the primary graphic element of the series. Vivid product colors vary throughout, while the typography remains the constant.

Yuval Haker is an Emmy-nominated director whose work spans narrative, commercial, and experimental film. His expressive visual worlds required a portfolio that could frame diverse projects without overwhelming them.

Esinly&Co designed a clean, minimalist interface that lets the work speak for itself. ABC Gravityy headlines the site, with its playful stylistic alternates selected to complement the tone and energy of Yuval's films.

Custom footer animations—small vignettes about the creative process—were drawn by Yuval specifically for the site, creating moments of surprise and delight with every page refresh.

All is Social emerges as a new agency, positioning itself around the idea of energizing brands for a digital-first era. Its visual identity, designed by Casamira, distills that ambition into a singular graphic gesture: a continuous circular form.

This unbroken loop becomes a metaphor for the openness and collective spirit that define contemporary online communities. It underscores the agency’s aim to cultivate these networks while suggesting a broader sense of global connection – a reminder that digital interaction flows effortlessly across borders.

Casamira’s approach places movement at the center of the identity. In static applications, the symbol never appears in the same position twice, a deliberate choice that mirrors the pace and volatility of social media. The result is an identity that frames the agency as responsive to an environment defined by constant change, where adaptability is essential for brands to remain alive and relevant.

Both the exhibition graphics including posters, flyers, and scenography as well as the design of the accompanying catalog make prominent use of Cosplay. According to its designer, Philipp Herrmann of Swiss foundry Out of the Dark, the italic-only typeface “is based on two paradox design principles by combining organic shapes with a grid-based structure. [It’s] drawn from scratch with loose references to Lazybones […], Cooper Nouveau […] and typography spawned by rave culture”. A further cited source of inspiration are the works of Jean (Hans) Arp, Surrealist artist colleague and close friend of Ernst. The specimen pdf for Cosplay depicts Floral, a collage created by Arp in 1957, featuring fluid organic shapes.

The accompanying sans is Dinamo’s ABC Favorit.

The exhibition was curated by Katja Böhlau and Ludger Derenthal. Wienand Verlag published the bilingual catalog (German and English). It comes with essays by the curators as well as by Michael Lailach and Jürgen Pech.

Footnote – Center for Image and Text is an independent, artist-run space based in Belgrade, Serbia, dedicated to exploring the intersections of visual and literary practices. Conceived as a platform by artists, for artists, Footnote has grown into a vibrant cultural hub and a space for experimentation. It has hosted a wide array of programs including exhibitions, workshops, readings, book launches, performances, communal meals, auctions, and radio broadcasts—becoming a place where form and content continually evolve.

Through its interdisciplinary programming—spanning residencies, curated events, and publishing initiatives—Footnote fosters collaboration, critical dialogue, and artistic growth. Rooted in community and driven by curiosity, it plays an active role in shaping the contemporary cultural landscape in Serbia and beyond.

The center’s visual identity was created by Jelena Lugonja, featuring the typeface Faune, a beautifully curved serif designed by French type designer Alice Savoie for the Centre National des Arts Plastiques. Faune combines delicate, unexpected forms with the precision of contemporary digital type design, echoing Footnote’s spirit of subtle experimentation and interdisciplinary inquiry. It is paired with ABC Favorit and​​​ Avara.

This Bachelor’s thesis made at FH Potsdam examined how museums can use digital technologies to create interactive and accessible experiences. Based on insights from two expert interviews and the analysis of two museum case studies, the project identified key strengths and weaknesses in current digital practices. These findings formed guidelines, which were then applied in the development of a concept to enhance the visitor experience at the Egyptian Museum in Berlin through the use of new media.

The book was written and designed by Dilara Fiedler using the typeface ABC Favorit (plus Mono and Lining variants) by Dinamo.

In creating Redkroft’s visual identity, we focused on stripping everything back to the essentials: words beginning with “Re.” Our approach was simple yet deliberate. We wanted the language itself to be the design, letting words like Revising, Rebranding, Resolving, and Redefining encapsulate Redkroft’s core philosophy without any excess.

By centering the design on “Re,” we aimed to echo the studio’s process—one of continual refinement, constant re-evaluation, and purposeful evolution. There’s no need for embellishments here; just type, thoughtfully placed, allowing each term to reflect Redkroft’s intent. It’s an identity that is as clear and direct as the work we deliver.

Our goal was to create a rhythm within the repetition. Each “Re” word is a reminder of the studio’s ongoing commitment to rethink and reinvent branding. This is an identity that doesn’t shout—it resonates, embodying Redkroft’s ethos with subtlety and strength.

Barrio (Bairro) Berlin was a Latin American literature festival held in October 2024. Barrio is the certainty that Berlin is just another neighborhood of Latin America; it’s the reorganization of Berlin into Latin American neighborhoods. The catalog brings texts from literature, poetry, illustrations, and type from Latin American to this city that welcomes them. It opens the door to thinking about other structures (the jacket, the cover, the index, editorial text, title page, manifesto, frontispiece, body text, impressum, save page, back cover), other languages where there are no languages (in plural), but rather an immense desire to communicate. The boundary between languages dissolves because other codes and agreements emerge from this coexistence.

The Beirut Synth Center, in collaboration with Tunefork Studios, with the support of Station Beirut and volunteers on the ground, is coordinating a relief operation to provide basic necessities (mattress, pillows, blankets, clothing, hygiene kits, etc.) to schools transformed into collective shelters, as well as to displaced people in need, in Beirut and its surroundings. This is a citizen initiative, made up of volunteers from the musical world and our local artistic community.

Tu arrocero is a Spanish paella delivery service operating out of Valencia, Castellón, and Alicante. They also offer up “to go” items out of their storefront in Valencia.

The branding was designed by Ibán Ramón and features the condensed weight of Central Type’s Zonk. It’s supported by Dinamo’s ABC Favorit. The charming character (Rice Man?) featured in the branding bears a bit of a resemblance to Thumbody.

Visual identity, visual communication and web design for ArtBarcelona Galeries by Todojunto.

Since its founding in 1990, ArtBarcelona has promoted joint initiatives of galleries dedicated to discovering, disseminating and defending contemporary art. After more than 30 years of history, the ArtBarcelona galleries continue working with the main objective of expanding the city’s cultural offering and enhancing its presence on the international art scene.

For the logomark a customized version of Dinamo’s Favorit was used, as well as Archive Grotesk 400 by Scifipoetry. The website features Archive Grotesk 400, 600 and 800 with their accompanying italic cuts.

In association with Klima Biennale Wien (5 April – 14 July 2024), Kunst Haus Wien presented a comprehensive group exhibition on one of the world’s most vital ecosystems: the forest. Sixteen contemporary artistic positions engage with the human impact on the condition and destruction of forests, as well as with the collective and symbiotic nature of the forest ecosystem.

Accompanying the exhibition, Spector Books published a catalogue, designed by Schienerl D/AD. The exhibition as well as the publication are using Gyst from phospho in dialog with ABC Favorit from Dinamo.

Moving away from the clean, precise Neo-grotesques typical of 2010s Silicon Valley, the Friend website opens with Miller and Miller Display – a serif typeface family with strong print and literary connotations. Completing the look, its product visuals feature ample natural lighting, people in sportswear, and A24-esque cinematography (product trailer).

The small text (“terms & conditions”, “privacy policy”, etc.) tucked away in the corners gives away the fact that Friend is still a tech company, as it is set in Favorit – a longtime tech darling.
