Designed by Bob Quinzel for Schaedler. [Schaedler 1970] Also carried by PLINC. [PLINC One Liner 1971] Formatt had it as Robin Robert [Formatt 1974]. Typeshop [Typeshop 1973], Franklin, and Typogabor called it Nassel Black [Sorvel]. Another alias is Scanner [Stiebner/Huber: Alphabete, 1984].
A related (but not identical) all-caps design was patented by William Beck in 1972 [patent].
