Leka is a sandwich shop located in Salzburg, Austria, serving up a modern take on the traditional Leberkässemmel (meatloaf sandwich).

The branding was created by Austria-based designer Lukas Diemling. The custom-drawn Leka logo was designed to evoke a mustard stain. All headlines are set in all-caps Rodger Black by Central Type, while the smaller secondary type is Pachinko by A is for: two rounded typefaces that make a delicious combination.

We wanted Merdanko – an online shop for doggos – to be like no other. We knew it was about quality, playfulness, humour and, above all, love for our furry four-legged friends. The task was complex. We started with naming the brand, conveying the joy expressed by tail wagging, which always brings a smile to people and their pets. Then, we set off with the branding, combining the illustrations with various colours throughout the materials. Lastly, we handled the web design for the shop itself. We can't wait for you to try it out!

Roger is used for the logo, while headlines are set in Labil Grotesk. On the website, smaller copy is set in the user’s default sans serif.

“It’s A Rainbow Full of Sound” – a quote from the lyrics of a Grateful Dead song – is set in the black weight of Central Type’s Rodger.

In the crypto world, Bitcoin Pizza Day is celebrated annually to commemorate the first known real-world transaction using Bitcoin. In May 2024, Coinbase marked the occasion by setting up a pizza truck and selling $1 slices in Washington Square, NYC.

The promotion then expanded into “Coinbase Pizza Month” where they teamed up with independent New York City pizzerias to allow customers to order through the Slice app for a chance to win a Bitcoin for themselves and the pizzeria.

The campaign makes heavy use of the Black and Black Italic weights of Central Type's Rodger. Set in all caps with an occasional outline and drop shadow effect, Rodger appears on pizza trucks, signage, pizza boxes, and a surprisingly wide range of merchandise.

Public Pool is a lifestyle brand that sells apparel and poolside products. The design was done by Perky Bros.

The logo and headlines are set in Central Type's Rodger Black. The website uses a combination of Euclid Circular A and Spot Mono for the secondary and body type.

Food delivery service Gopuff recently partnered with NBA star Chris Paul to create a new line of plant-based snacks called Good Eat’n. The branding and packaging design is by Utendahl Creative.

The main brand typeface used on the packaging as well as the promotional materials is the Black weight of Central Type's Rodger. Milk also appears on the packaging and Mars is used for body copy on the Good Eat’n website.

Hommey is an Australian online cushion brand launched in 2020. The company's logo was designed by A Friend Of Mine, who worked on brand identity & positioning, brand guidelines, visual look & feel, website design & illustration design. Constant provided art direction & social media content creation.

The logotype is set in the Black weight of Central Type’s Rodger. Rodger Black is also used as the brand’s main typeface.

Chip NYC is a Queens-originated cookie shop known for large gooey cookies & creative flavours that led them to go viral. ⁣With their first Manhattan project on the horizon, we were tasked with rebranding them from their current homemade, aesthetic to a more exciting brand that reflected their young social-media driven audience and creative offerings. ⁣They now have 5 stores and counting located around New York City. They have just launched a delivery system of box fresh cookies that can be baked at home.

⁣Their unique shaped gooey centered cookies were a direct influence on the logo mark design. With a vintage touch to represent a nostalgia for cookies shared by everyone from all generations. ⁣

Once that was decided, we expanded on a world of Chip City Cookies, animating the illustrations of clouds to rain chocolate chips and rainbow sprinkles. ⁣

The "Ugly" wordmark is custom lettering drawn by Rob Clarke, but the main brand typeface used on all packaging and advertising is Rodger— specifically the Black weight. Rodger Black’s plump curves and retro vibe perfectly compliment the colorful and playful new branding.
