Inspired by Polish lettering from the Communist times. A first version of the Black was released in 2016 under the SIL Open Font License as part of the Warsaw Types project. The commercial release (Magiel Pro, 2017) comes in two styles, Black and Hairline, with Cyrillics and many stylistic sets.
