A bold sans in a single wide style, designed by Max Miedinger. Released by Haas in 1965, initially as an all-caps typeface. Later (after 1968) extended with a lowercase.
Digitally revived by Patrick Griffin as Miedinger (Canada Type, 2007, no lowercase), adding four lighter weights. Lucas Liccini made a private digitization in 2020 as part of his Revivals & Renditions student project at UdK Berlin, including the original lowercase. OT Horizontal (Omnitype) is a digitization and extension to five weights with lowercase, drawn by Simon Mager in 2020. Münchenstein Display is an interpretation by Nikola Djurek in 2023.
