Leading Edge Aviation offers flight training courses located at the international London Oxford Airport. The founders are highly experienced in the aviation world and ultimately aim to modernise training programmes by using the latest technology and create a highly personalised environment. The company launched in 2018 and aims to offer each individual a holistic pilot education and the ability to learn both technical and soft skills that keep pace with todays aviation industry demands.

During the design process, F37 Foundry’s F37 Jagger is used throughout their branding due to it being a simply formed typeface with curved lines and little kicks which is entirely accessible and unassuming. F37 Jagger is a perfect choice for the fuselage and is easily readable with a stylistic edge.

The Typographic Circle is an organisation bringing together anyone with an interest in design, craft and typography for a variety of talks.

Supple Studio, a graphic design studio in Bath, were approached by Typographic Circle for Jamie Ellul, founder of Supple Studio, to do a talk on January 26th, 2023. Prior to the talk, Supple Studio were requested to design a poster for the display.

F37 Jagger is the predominant type used for this poster design. With its clean, curved lines and little kicks, F37 Jagger makes for a perfectly accessible and sleek poster.

F37 Jagger and F37 Judge are our house fonts for all Supple Studio comms and templates. When I was asked to speak at the TypoCircle I didn’t want to just trot out a slide show of work; but instead put together a more revealing presentation on what makes the agency tick. I liked the idea of revealing the grid and invisibles of the poster design to suggest a more behind the scenes look into Supple. Which in turn inspired the name of my talk ‘Hidden Characters & Invisibles’. The poster is printed in metallic gold ink on Colorplan Slate.

F37 Jagger by F37 Foundry in use for the rebrand of Elsewhen, a digital product consultancy in London. From Elsewhen’s Medium post:

Using lean branding methodology would allow us to focus on the real challenge: create an identity reflecting that we are creative but also pragmatic, we’re a team who don’t indulge time on pure vanity activities.

Using a few carefully chosen brand personality exercises, the three Elsewhen founders independently described our personality in almost exactly the same way.

Choosing a typeface was one of the most important decisions we made. When we discovered F37 Jagger, it felt like a perfect match for our voice and vision. Clean and simple in nature but with enough flair, it felt like it perfectly aligned with our straightforward approach, and our commitment to designing products that can be accessed by all.

After 130 years as a strong player in racket sports, Dunlop’s brand presence had slowly diminished over the years. It was time to revive this iconic heritage brand.

Beautifully designed, technically sophisticated, a customised version of our F37 Jagger typeface was a perfect marriage for our client Dunlop.

Following recent acquisition the Dunlop racket sports brand needed a new brand and marketing strategy and with that a new visual identity. F37 Jagger provided us with the perfect font to modernise and future proof our typography which plays a key role across all brand touchpoints.

To mark seven years of designing and doing we've created a book of our work. Actually it's two books – one little one about our approach and process, and a larger one which includes case studies and thought pieces.

The book has been beautifully printed by our friends Empress, with gorgeous papers by Fedrigoni and some tasty exposed binding. We're mostly using these for new biz and to share with existing clients. But quite a few people have asked to buy one – so we're putting 100 of the 500 run on here. Once they're gone they're gone though.
