Lightline Gothic

The lightest of Benton’s gothics, designed in 1908 for ATF [McGrew 1993], but not yet shown until 1910 [American Bulletin, May 1910] when it was first called simply Lightline.

Digital versions by Monotype (previously Linotype), Scangraphic, Elsner+Flake. See also Benton Gothic Thin NF (Nick’s Fonts, 2014) and the lighter styles of Benton Sans (Font Bureau, 2000).
