The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is an American television miniseries created by Malcolm Spellman for the streaming service Disney+. From Rotten Tomatoes:

A weathered FB Agency is used for the logo of the series. Stratum 1 is used in two weights throughout the series on introductory title cards, location cards, and credits.

The recently opened Business Innovation Hub at UMass Amherst’s Isenberg School of Management was designed by BIG/Bjarke Ingels Group and Goody Clancy. All the signage and wayfinding in the building was created by Herter Design Group using Stratum 1 by Eric Olson of Process Type Foundry.

Inspired by Stefan Sagmeister's project Things I Have Learned In My Life So Far and the many professional and personal experiences and turmoil in the first year since my graduation from the Zagreb School of Design I created a series of minimalist typographic posters illustrating the simple maxims and thoughts I had come to realise.

My first personal exhibition, featuring the posters, was opened on the 24th of January at the Boonika Gallery in Zagreb. The following are the posters and exhibition visuals and images from the making-of.

It took us a while to find the perfect font for our logo. Because we’re a sports app, we needed something both bold and modern. Stratum 1 was perfect with its sharp corners and strong edges. We tilted it a little bit to give it a sense of movement and energy. 

The Great Discontent makes the best of the web’s typographic capabilities, like webfonts and a responsive layout that maintains a comfortable line length and easy navigation. It’s one of the loveliest sites designed in the last couple of years for long reading.
