An uncoordinated series of grotesques cast by Nebiolo, at least partly composed of designs by other foundries. This entry is for informational purposes, and for those members that can’t be linked to other sources.

A specimen from 1960 shows ten styles; neretto strettisimo (semibold compressed, w/ beardless ‘G’), nero strettisimo (bold compressed), nero stretto (bold condensed), nerissimo strettissimo (black compressed), chiaro stretto (light condensed), neretto stretto (semibold condensed, w/ some contrast), chiaro (light, see Breite magere Grotesk), nero (bold, shown; see Breite halbfette Grotesk), nerissimo (black, see Zeitungs-Grotesque), corsivo nerissimo (black italic, see Fette Kursiv-Grotesk). A specimen from 1935 shows nerissimo stretto (black condensed, see Mid-Gothic). Another specimen from c. 1960 shows five styles incl. Etrusco Microscopia (bold caps, for small sizes?).

Etrusco Now is a “reinvention” and expansion released in 2020 in the Italiantype library by Zetafonts. It includes Etrusco Classic, which covers “the original weights”. Comes in 8 styles, but isn’t faithful to the original metal type in many details.
