The Center of Gravity (CoG) is a newly formed DNRF Center of Excellence at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen. The Center focuses on the understanding of gravity: what lies within black holes, how do they move or behave dynamically, how they are affected by matter and quantum effects, and what information can we gain via gravitational waves. The CoG is perhaps the largest and most active Center in the field in Europe.

The main requirement for the website was to showcase the CoG’s work for the public at large, and to make it exciting to learn about gravity, as well as to be a fundamental resource for members of the physics community. The need to convey very complex information in as clear and concise manner as possible, dictated the need to find a set of fonts capable of conveying those qualities. The choice fell on two sets of fonts that are visually appealing, versatile and, crucially, extremely legible in a variety of digital environments: The main titles use Lato Bold (designed by Łukasz Dziedzic), while Fira Sans (by Carrois Apostrophe) carries the rest of the typographic work in the secondary titles (Fira Sans Bold) and copy text (Fira Sans Regular).

This project showcases the rebranding of Casa Dentalis, a modern dental clinic group based in Berlin, Germany. The brand identity was designed to communicate trust, precision, and a calm, contemporary aesthetic. We used the Lato typeface across all print and digital touchpoints – from stationery to signage – for its clean geometry, friendly tone, and high readability. Combined with a minimalist layout and a fresh color palette, the typography plays a key role in reflecting the clinic’s balance of professionalism and warmth.

The brand identity for clinical psychologist Jedrek Hagedorn uses typography to express a practice grounded in clarity, reflection, and quiet transformation. The logo and visual language are part of a broader identity refresh focused on refining Jedrek’s message—one that honours his heritage and his approach to guiding clients inward.

The display typeface Basteleur (Velvetyne Type Foundry) brings character and a sense of personality to the brand, while Lato (Łukasz Dziedzic) and Karla (Jonny Pinhorn) provide a calm, accessible counterpoint for body copy and digital use. Together, they reflect a balance of depth and warmth—structured, yet open.

The identity includes a new logomark inspired by a compass rose—symbolising orientation, guidance, and personal direction. The overall system spans digital and print applications, aiming to create a visual presence that feels both professional and personal.

Moosh Salon is a special salon made with love. It offers the transformative power of hair as a tool for self-discovery and empowerment. Not like any other hair salon, Moosh Salon is an expert in creating an effortlessly beautiful look that gets better as it grows.

The identity by Kellie Lynn Media uses Merisca from Pixesia Studio as the basis for Moosh Salon’s logo and primary headline. Barlow Condensed is used for the navigational elements and subheading. Additionally, the website uses Lato for some selected text and Inter for the body copy.

Presilium Private Wealth, an advisory for high-net-worth individuals, partnered with us to create a brand that embodies simplicity and clarity. We coined ‘Presilium’ from prescience, resilience, and equilibrium, reflecting their ethos. The logo’s hourglass design, symbolizing longevity, forms ‘PWP’ subtly, extending this elegant identity to all branding materials. The website features an animated and a serene color palette of cool greens and warm accents, inspired by nature. Our design, merging serif headers with sans serif body text, adds harmony and sophistication.

Apoc is used for the visual and web identity of Círculo, a start-up that addresses beauty in an integrative way. Apoc is supported by the sans-serif Lato. Designed by Cocota Studio.

Linney Cooper are an established, family-run flooring company renowned for creating bespoke carpets for luxury interiors throughout the globe, including Buckingham Palace. Since 1964, they have used a combination of traditional methods and modern techniques.

In 2022, Linney Cooper undertook a rebrand, using F37 Foundry’s F37 Bergman. With its tapered stems and geometric thick/thin lines, F37 Bergman is just the job for luxury branding. According to View Creative Agency, “the typography was chosen to compliment the logomark to tie in with the Royal Warrant and luxurious look.”

We chose F37 Bergman for our main logo font and promotional material headings due to its strong and bold presence. The modern and slim letters are also aesthetic with a professional quality which represents our brand well.

Oras Invest focuses its ownership on industrial companies that operate in the building, water and bio-based material value chains. The modulated Utile Display is used throughout the website, paired with Lato for body text. The company logo is set in ITC Avant Garde Gothic.

Branding and fit-out for for gastro pub and brewery GRAIN, located in Hong Kong. Designed by Australian based Collective Objective:

Just as the venue itself and the innovative processes take something historical or traditional and give it a modern refreshed twist. Our brand solution built upon this idea by utilising vintage-inspired engravings and illustrations to build a visual journey of grains. From field to glass and plate, with some added quirkiness along the way.

Wulkan Display and Lato are paired throughout the branding.

A series of digital single covers designed for a music project called Oltre le tue retine (“beyond your retinas”), the latest mixtape of indie/rap collective Anima Fvm from Lodi, near Milan. All the songs are available from the YouTube and SoundCloud profiles of Anima Fvm.

The concept for all covers is to represent how the collective’s music carries away the listener beyond imagination. Each cover is tailored to reflect the mood of the individual songs.

Bramz, the font used for all titles, perfectly represent the magic trip that the listeners will experience with this mixtape. FF Dot Matrix is used for “Anima Fvm – 2021” on the disk mockups. A lot of details are hidden in every cover, in the form of stickers or pieces of paper, featuring various other typefaces.

The tracklist (see the end of this post) features an original drawing of an eyeball from the 18th century. Wallet was chosen for the labels because its doodle-like style works great with the idea of an old medical paper.

Glossarie is a colourful web experience for Elizabeth Befus, former editor in chief at Apple — writer about all things tech. Her obsession with colours, words, numbers and symbols as well as her vibrant personality were used as inspiration for this playful one-pager.

We have selected Canela Text for its friendly, warm appearance with quiet confidence. For body copy, the semi-rounded details of Lato add a feeling of warmth, while the strong structure provides stability and seriousness. Male and female, serious but friendly.

Corporis is a Pilates studio in a small Spanish town. The studio takes inspiration fro the Polestar Pilates philosophy which focuses on the body healing through movement and mind-body-spirit connectivity. One of the main differences of Polestar and traditional types of Pilates is the use of a machine instead of a floor mat.

The owner approached me asking for a whole design of her new Pilates studio in town which would also include yoga and sporadical events and masterclasses. Young but persistent, the founder has developed a personal way to teach Pilates by mixing the Polestar philosophy with her own way of understanding movement.

The design of the brand was inspired by the characteristic geometrical shapes of the polestar machine which shape the main logo of Corporis. The geometrical shapes are recurrent throughout the whole branding, bringing structure but also freedom, like the Polestar philosophy.

Pier Sans is the main typeface. It is a modern, structured, slightly geometric typeface that looks perfect both large and small. It adapts to all necessary designs and texts and gives to Corporis a strong and defined personality.

The project included the design of a website and social media presence, advertising and interior design collaboration to create a complete and consistent brand for Corporis.

Launched in 2020, Noots is a Toronto-based modern pet brand providing a fresh take on traditional cat products. Catering to cat-owning design enthusiasts, Noots offers a growing collection of high quality, minimalist cat products.

P22 Mackinac is a prominent header font used throughout the site, paired with Sofia and Lato text fonts. The look is clean, approachable and distinctive.

Not three lost Marx Brothers but the keys – along with a grid-based layout and a lot more open space – to the redesigned v. 1.8 of music player Roon. There was something cluttered and fatigueing to the eye about the layouts and typefaces used for previous versions, which this redesign seems to have elegantly addressed. On their website, Roon write:

Roon now has a fresh new visual design that takes its inspiration from the idea of the museum – an airy, neutral environment in which to display things of beauty. We also took cues from classic music magazines, using bold typography and innovative layout to bring music to life. Along with innovations in data presentation, Roon is now a joy to use.

Headlines use the distinct Grifo; all information is set in a combination of two similar typefaces, Noto Sans and Lato.

Peak Performance is a Austrian winter clothing company. Their website uses Lato and Novecento Sans for one of their collections. Novecento Sans is also used on some of their clothes as a secondary logo.

The Visible Voices podcast amplifies voices visible and invisible in the healthcare industry. Host Dr. Resa E. Lewiss aims at making meaningful conversations about equity and current trends in the healthcare industry. Guests include professionals including but not limited to the medicine industry, to increase diverse voices of those who might not have a voice otherwise.

Since 2009, French photographer Vasantha Yogananthan has produced personal projects and has developed his artistic approach to carefully respond to subject and place. His strong interest in painting led him to work around the genres of portrait, still life and landscape. Using these traditions as a starting point, he refined his photographic approach to produce photographs that expand the traditional genres and are united by a distinctively muted colour palette, achieved solely using natural light.

The typefaces were chosen in order to respond best to this particular approach to photography. Schnyder echoes Vasantha Yogananthan’s interest in organic forms and their fragile and soft character. The features also illustrate a humanity which is present in the portraits of men, women and (mostly) children. Lato conveys a more technical expertise as well as a meticulous and thorough working process, from shooting images to making prints. Cormorant allows a smooth and comfortable reading of the texts, and hints at a tradition of literary works and to this bird’s elegance, yet another of the photographer’s much sought-after subject matter.

-OC Rey plays a big role in the visual identity of the user interface of the physical device and website of The Humly Room Display; the perfect interactive display for meeting rooms and collaborative spaces. On their website, –OC Rey is paired with Lato for body text, and Zilla Slab for menus and a few text blocks.

Cocina sin gluten para niños (“Gluten-free cooking for kids”) is a cookbook by Dolly Walsh edited by Grijalbo, an imprint of Penguin Random House in Argentina. It's a book of celiac recipes for children that contains more than 100 innovative recipes totally free of gluten.

Fredoka is used for titles and headings, body copy uses Lato.
