Shown by Dan X. Solo in Victorian Display Alphabets (Dover, 1976) as Wedlock (w/ many alts) and in Decorative Display Alphabets (1990) and in the Solotype catalog (1992) as Cardinal. Carried by Letraset in 1979 as Cardinal and shown in their 1987 catalog without design credits.

Digital interpretations include Cymbeline (Scriptorium, 1993), WishMF (Rick W. Mueller, 1997), Wedlock (Dan X. Solo, 1998, used for sample), Cardinal (Dieter Steffmann, 2000, w/ different numerals), and Kardanal DT (DTP Types, 2007).
