Originally designed in 2017 for the art center Synesthésie. Conceptualized by Bonjour Monde and designed by Lucas Descroix with help from Arman Mohtadji. Released under an open-source license in June 2018, initially in five styles; Regular (shown), Bold, Extra (black and extended), Italic (see Syne Tactile), and Mono (see Syne Mono). Syne was extended to five upright weights with support for Greek (by George Triantafyllakos) in March 2022.
