An upright chancery designed by Bill Horton based on his earlier bitmap font named Fancy Chancery [Read me] and named MacHumaine. Released into the public domain. Refined in 1989 as Heidelberg. [Read me] Heidelberg is heavier and more angular. There are many copies and alterations. Palmieri (David Nalle, Scriptorium, 1993) and Christmas (Doug Miles, 1995, used for sample) are based on MacHumaine.
