    <title>Série 18 in use</title>
    <link>https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/87542/serie-18</link>
    <description>Série 18 in use. Cut at Deberny &amp;amp; Cie between 1901 and 1910 by Faulque, Garnier, Séverac, Parmentier, and Durand. [Audin] First shown in a 1906 specimen alongside other faces. In 1931, Deberny &amp;amp; Peignot (now merged with G. Peignot &amp;amp; Fils) published a specimen entirely devoted to Série 18, attesting to its enduring success. [Signes]&#13;
&#13;
Caslon offered a very similar design (possibly imported from Deberny) inexplicably called Baskerville Old Style. It appears to differ only in its narrow ‘j’ and ‘y’. Linotype’s version, available in all sizes, was Transit. [Hutt]</description>
