Jumping Jack in use. Originally released by Mecanorma for dry-transfer lettering – perhaps in 1975 [Lineto], though this estimate may be early as it appears as a new typeface in Modern Publicity 1978. Shown by Mecanorma in c.1977. [Mecanorma c.1977] Comes with many alternates and several ligatures. See also Zembsch’s similar all-caps Beans (Letraset, 1973).

LL Jumping Jack is a digital revival and extension designed by Charles Grant with Dieter Zembsch’s approval in 2011. Completed by Sascha Bente and released with Lineto in January 2020.
